Club Ready DJ School (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to clubreadydjschool.com and the services offered through it.

Club Ready DJ School is operated by Andrew Duffield (ABN 87 739 762 006), based in Mullumbimby, NSW, Australia.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you sign up for the free DJ mini course or create an account, we collect your name and email address. When you purchase a course, your payment is processed by PayPal — we receive confirmation of the transaction and related order details, but we do not collect or store your full card details.
• Information collected automatically. When you use our site, we may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit. We use this to keep the service working and to protect it from spam, fraud, and abuse.
• Cookies and similar technologies. We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to operate the site. We use Google reCAPTCHA to protect our forms from bots, which is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We do not run advertising or use third-party ad-tracking pixels.

How we use your information

• To deliver the free mini course and send the DJ training emails you signed up for.
• To provide access to courses you purchase, and to manage your account and login (including one-time login codes).
• To process payments and provide receipts.
• To protect our site and our users from spam, fraud, and abuse (including email validation and bot detection).
• To respond to your enquiries and provide support.
• To send you marketing about our courses and offers, where you have opted in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.

Confirming your subscription and email choices

When you sign up, we send a confirmation email and only add you to our mailing list once you confirm (double opt-in). You can unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in its footer; we keep a record of unsubscribes so we don't email you again.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, under agreements that require them to protect it:

• PayPal — payment processing.
• Elastic Email — sending our course and marketing emails.
• Mailtrap — sending transactional emails such as login codes and receipts.
• ZeroBounce — checking that email addresses are valid, to protect deliverability.
• Google reCAPTCHA — protecting our forms from bots.
• Our web hosting provider — storing site and account data.

We may also disclose information where required by law.

International transfers

Some of our providers are located outside Australia (for example, in the United States). Where we transfer your information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with this policy and applicable law.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account or subscription is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can ask us to delete your information (see “Your rights”).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to withdraw consent. Under the Australian Privacy Principles and, for EU/UK residents, the GDPR, you can exercise these rights by contacting us at support@clubreadydjschool.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) or your local data protection authority.

Children

Our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and to limit who can access it.

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version on this page with a new “last updated” date.
